Conducting community-centered clinical trials and research studies of new medications and treatments since 1997

The Community Clinical Research Network conducts clinical trials and research studies of new medications and treatments, providing the pharmaceutical companies and the FDA with the information they need to continue development and/or grant approval for their general use. Our research includes all phases of a clinical trial, from Phase I thru Phase IV.
Community-Based Research
Since opening our facility in Marlborough, MA in 1997, we have conducted our clinical trials at the community-level, allowing participants to experience greater availability and responsiveness from our clinical research team than they would in a major medical center or hospital-based trial. We are owned and operated by clinician-researchers and only nurses, physicians and certified clinical research coordinators work with participants and serve on the team conducting our trials. Our onsite Principal Investigator/physician has over 30 years’ experience in clinical research.
Patient-Centered Environment
As a pioneer in the community-based clinical research model, CCRN offers an environment that is clinical and professional, yet more intimate, relaxing, and patient-friendly. We are also patient-centered, viewing every patient participant as a whole being and not a number. We act as an advocate for your health and safety, ensuring you are a good fit for the trial, overseeing your care throughout and referring you to other medical professionals if necessary. CCRN is enrolling volunteer participants for current clinical trials and research projects in all stages of development. All our clinical trial participants are compensated for the time and assistance they contribute to the research.

What is a Clinical Trial?

Clinical trials are conducted to evaluate the safety and effectiveness of new investigational drugs, vaccines, devices and procedures before they are prescribed or utilized by physicians. These trials are a necessary step in the process of bringing new drugs and treatments to patients and advancing medical science. The effective medications and treatments we have today are available due to clinical trials and the patients that participated in them. By participating in a trial, you help researchers with testing new medications that you or others may benefit from.
